Someone pays for a top-tier model, wires it into a serious agent framework, and then uses it to check the weather, ask what day it is, summarize a short email, or do the kind of work a free chatbot could already handle. It feels a bit like buying a Ferrari and then driving it only to the corner store for tomatoes.
